G-res Tool Training
Course description
This interactive online training course gives participants the basic knowledge of geographic information systems and reservoir GHG dynamics to assess projects using the G-res Tool.
This training course is designed for professionals from all backgrounds interested in learning how to apply the G-res Tool.
The course will be delivered as a blend of online and offline engagement. Participants will take part in virtual classrooms where the trainers will deliver live lessons, including group activities and live Q&A sessions. Participants will receive an official certificate from the International Hydropower Association and will be accredited as Certified Users of the G-res Tool.
Registration details
The G-res Tool Training will take place virtually between 22 and 25 September 2025. Participants are expected to join live sessions on 22, 24 and 25 September
at 09:00-13:00 (Montreal) and 13:00-17:00 (UK).
The standard rate for the training course is £1,500 + VAT per participant. IHA and HS Council members are eligible for a 10% discount. Group discounts are available for groups above 5.
